Social Media Snarkiness

Being an artist has always required a thick skin. Today more than ever with social media snarkiness criticizing every step of the way. But artists are usually by their very nature extremely sensitive to atmospheres, images and words. The key, discovered much too late for many of us is to trust OUR HIGHER EGO or OUR Inner Guidance. This is not an easy path because even most teaching methods train us to look outside ourselves for validation. We MUST train ourselves to view any type of criticism as simple feedback and to be very picky about what we accept as true or valuable.
